In his current role as Lockheed Martin’s Director of Corporate Sustainability, Matthew Swibel leads the Corporation’s sustainability program, reporting and stakeholder engagement, as well as serves on the cross-functional Sustainability Working Group. During his tenure Lockheed Martin has been named a sector leader in environmental, social and governance performance by leading analysts and institutional asset managers, including MSCI, RobecoSAM and Sustainalytics. Previously, Matt spent a decade as an award-winning business journalist, primarily with Forbes. He graduated cum laude from American University (DC) with degrees in Communications and Sociology and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland.
