Hello!

My name is Alexandr. I come from a small but very beautiful country of Moldova.

I have graduated with MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics and Global Environmental Governance from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. I have also been studying in Free International University in Moldova and University of California, Berkeley in the US.

My life is rich with diverse volunteering experience that include such organizations as AIESEC, JCI, Let's Do It, World!, etc. In AIESEC and JCI I was part of the National Executive Board developing the organizations in a strategic way on the national level.

A lot of my experience is also related to environmental research and eco-innovation development. For 4 years I had been working as a researcher at the Institute of Economy, Finance, and Statistics (www.ince.md) in Moldova. Then I did a research project in Indonesia on climate change mitigation strategies in the Ungaran region, which resulted in a research paper being presented at the World Resources Forum 2014. And recently I have done a research in Germany on the contribution of makerspaces and 3D printing technology to sustainable development of Berlin. The findings are going to be published in the 2015 edition of the scientific journal "Ökologisches Wirtschaften".

Nowadays I am the co-founder and research and cooperation coordinator at MEGA (Moldovan Environmental Governance Academy; www.megageneration.com), where we develop the unique innovation called MEGA Game: The Game with Impact. At the same time I am also the co-founder and CTO of a startup 3D Magic Makers (www.3dmagicmakers.com) that provides publicly accessible services of 3D design and eco-friendly 3D printing, as well as education on these topics. And last but not least, I am also a poet and writer with 3 books published and available on the major on-line bookstores with the most well-known one being the science fiction novel "The Monster: Blade of Darkness" (www.themonster.info).
