My name’s Dustin Carey. I am a candidate for a Master's of Climate Change at the University of Waterloo, with special focuses on climate governance, urban sustainability and disaster risk reduction. I completed my undergrad in Geography and Environmental Management, and am presently working as a research assistant on projects pertinent to insuring Canadian coastal cities within the context of climate change and triggering transformative sustainable innovations in communities.

I have previously worked in four federal ministries within the Canadian government, and contributed to the research package for the Canadian delegation to the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection.
