Michelle Lower joined Alexandria in 2007, and has extensive experience working with many departments and committees within the City of Cambridge, MIT, Kendall Square Association, and local non-profits including the East End House and the Cambridge Community Art Center. During her eight years with Alexandria, Ms. Lower has assisted in the procurement of local entitlements, special permits, and MEPA processes for more than two million square feet of office/laboratory buildings in Cambridge. Ms. Lower assisted in all facets of the acquisition, planning, and development of the Alexandria Center® at Kendall Square, a 1.75 million square foot development in Cambridge. She is a member of the board of directors of the East Cambridge Business Association and also serves as a committee member of the Cambridge Kids Council, the Kendall Square EcoDistrict, and the East Cambridge Kendall Square Open Space Committee. She earned her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.
