Don Shobrys '75, past president of the MIT Alumni Association, is the Co-Director of the MIT Venture Mentoring Service after a career in supply chain management. He has a SB in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT, a SM in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University, and a PhD in Operations Research from Johns Hopkins. He received the Bronze Beaver and Henry B. Kane '24 Awards. Don chaired the record setting Class of 1975 25th Reunion Gift Committee that received a Presidential Citation. He serves on the MIT Corporation as well as three visiting committees and is a past chair of the Annual Fund Board. He and his wife Carol live in Concord, MA.
