Matthew Naud is the Environmental Coordinator for the City of Ann Arbor. He staffs the City’s Environmental Commission and makes recommendations to the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council on a broad range of sustainability issues. Mr. Naud is a member of the Urban Sustainability Director’s Network where he serves on the Planning Committee, Innovation Committee, Rental Housing User Group, and Small Cities User Group. The Innovation Committee develops a strategic plan for annual funding for collaborative grants among cities that create and disseminate innovation across US and Canadian member cities. Mr. Naud was recently appointed to a three year term on the USEPA Board of Scientific Counselors – Sustainable and Healthy Communities Subcommittee. The Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC) provides advice, information, and recommendations to EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) on technical and management issues of its research programs.
