Member Profile
Peter has more than 30 years plant cultivation experience, working in Africa, North America and Asia, in various management positions, supervising and training large numbers of multi-cultural staff. His career started in South Africa, after which he also gained extensive international experience in project management, nursery development, greenhouse construction, nursery production, reforestation, ecosystem restoration; and the cultivation and maintenance of a wide range of plants under extreme conditions ranging from -40°C to +45°C. In addition, Peter started up several new operations in developing countries with limited resources and infrastructure. Peter has returned to South Africa and is ready to take on new challenges, restoring degraded natural areas and introducing carbon-neutral natural resource management systems in any part of the world. Peter believes that although development is inevitable, it should always be done in harmony with nature. Peter holds a National Diploma in Landscape Horticulture from the Tswane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa.
