Dr. Gong Ping (G.P.) Yeh is a high energy physicist. Born in Taiwan, International CKS High School in Okinawa. MIT BS, Caltech MS, MIT PhD. He is an American Physical Society Fellow and Okinawa Goodwill Ambassador.  Dr. Yeh's work and contributions include the discovery of the Top Quark, pioneering large scale computing using Linux, creating new Particle Therapy Centers for treating tumor patients in Illinois, Taiwan, and other countries. He served as a member of the Republic of China Taiwan's Presidential Science and Technology Advisory Committee and as Special Advisor to Japan's Minister of Science and Technology to create Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.  He is invited to the Science and Technology in Society Forum, the World Science Forum, other gatherings, and to give numerous lectures including at the Library of Congress for 2016 Celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage.  His research and interests in sustainable energies include renewable energies, energy efficiencies, and energy storage.  In recent years, he has also focused on Accelerator Driven Systems and Thorium energy as a new source of energy.  Dr. Yeh has been serving internationally as an advisor for sustainable energy in many countries.
