Kavita Gupta is a 2015 recipient of UN social finance innovator award of the year. She has over 10 years of experience in impact investment and fixed income product innovation at McKinsey, The World Bank, HSBC, and IFC and has been an integral part of the first Green bond, Carbon swap and social impact bond teams at the World Bank and IFC. She has developed and headed World Bank’s youth innovation fund and is passionate about social impact investments and impact measurements. An MIT media lab fellow and HBS alum, Kavita serve on the board of over 10 impact-driven companies and foundations across Middle east, South Asia and Africa. She headed the impact investment practice at Amplifier strategies, advising foundations and family offices on their impact investments and currently works at The Schmidt family foundation to support their mission-driven investment program uplifting bottom of the pyramid with strong equity and diversity lenses.
