Member Profile
- I have a Bachelor in International and European Studies from Panteion University of Athens. Also from the same Department, I hold a Master of Arts in Environmental Governance and Sustainable Development (Jean Monnet Programme) with excellent. Most prominently, the achievement of a sustainable holistic energy and environmental policy and market in EU was the theme of my Master Thesis, where I had the chance to examine the fields of all market-based instruments relating to environmental policy, EU 2030 strategy, emissions trading (mostly the EU-ETS), promotion of renewable energy, plus the external energy market in Europe, the energy governance (global, European and regional), the energy and environmental security challenges and the sustainable energy and environmental capacities in EU and its member-states.
-Those domains, are also in core of my research work for the last nine years in the Centre for Russia, Eurasia and South-East Europe (CERENE) of Institute of International Relations in Athens, Greece. During these years, I provide a number of texts (from long technical and analytical reports to analysis documents and short editorials in week, month, and special editions base) in English and Greek language, some of them part of collective research volumes that gain national attention and media cover, such us the Geo-political analysis for TAP natural gas pipeline. For about two years I has leading the team of Energy-Economy and Environment.
-The last two years I commit myself in a more active youth working role, with personal workshops, that according to the organisers were quite educative and effective.
-From last year, also, I participate in a special program, probably unique in Europe, where the Association of Investors in Greece (SED) and a group of university students and experts like me are attending to General Assemblies of Companies in Greek Stock Exchange. This year I was being elected as Secretary of Economic and Auditing Committee of SED.
