I have completed Master of Science (Environmental) with specialization in Climate Change and Water Resources Planning and Development from Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu, Nepal. The topic of my Master Degree’s thesis is Impact of Climate Change on Water Resources and Local Responses in Panchkhal VDC, Kavrepalanchowk, Nepal which was funded through the research grant of National Adaptation Programme of Action (NAPA) Project, Ministry of Environment, Nepal. After completion of master degree, I started my career in Center for Energy Studies, Institute of Engineering, TU as a “Researcher cum Trainer” where I conducted a wide range of researches related to feasibility study of renewable energy projects, climate change, technology transfer for GHG mitigation, environmental impact assessment, etc. Besides, I also conducted training and awareness programs on energy and environment and community mobilization for resources management. While working in Ernst and Young, Seoul, Korea I involved in various projects related to Green Growth in Vietnam, Green Industry Mapping Strategy in Indonesia, CDM Methodology development of real time navigation system in Korea. Besides, I also worked as a researcher in Ecoeye, a consulting firm situated in Seoul, Korea, and involved in due diligence of green brick and biomass energy generation CDM PoA projects in Vietnam. Currently, as a Programme Manager - Climate Change and Sustainability in Climate Advocacy International (a non-profit), I am taking care of projects related to climate change mitigation, resilience and disaster risk reduction.
