My name is Abdul Malek. I am Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I have been born in Faryab province in 1980 and right now I am living in Mazar-i-Sharif city of Balkh province. I have worked in different projects in the fields of construction and also social development in Northern provinces of Afghanistan.
I have worked in United States different Agencies funded projects, projects funded by Federal Government of German, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) funded Highway project and Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded project.
During my travel to different districts in Northern Provinces of Afghanistan I found real reasons causing of the issue. My recent worked project was rehabilitation/rebuilding the flood affected structures funded by Asian Development Bank. This project could covered only parts of the damages. But, since the problem has not been solved in its stem the villagers will lose most of their assets such as agricultural lands, public infrastructures, home, animal gazing areas and so on. These will cause new internally displacements, will increase poverty and the number of job seekers and will badly effect on climate.
I have designed and estimated several construction projects such as Buildings, Bridges, Culverts, Swimming Pool, Wool Processing Center and non construction projects such as Farmers Economic Development and Training Projects.
Also, I made mini wool processing machine operated by both solar power and regular electricity with very low consumption to improve women economy in villages.
