Annerieke Douma has over 15 years of experience in developing businesses. She has established and sold a successful consultancy firm, worked with sustainable brands and has been responsible for the P&L of several product groups within L’Oreal. Annerieke has a passion for social and environmental issues and sees the circular economy as one of the major solutions for climate change while allowing our global economy to maintain growth and prosperity in a favourable manner for society. She currently holds a seat on the FORCE advisory board and before joining Circle Economy, was responsible for organising the Netherlands as a Circular Hotspot Campaign during the Dutch EU presidency and its incoming trade mission with 140 participants from over 20 countries.

At Circle Economy Annerieke holds the position of Director Program and Business Development and is responsible for the Circle Textiles and Circle Cities programmes, integrating our services and helping to develop the organisation by scaling up its ambitions.
