PIFEVA (Pillar of Vulnerable Women Active in DR Congo) is a Congolese non-profit organization created on 04 June 2004 in Bukavu in South Kivu and legally registered (certificate n ° JUST.112 / SKV / 3081/2010 of the division of justice and keeper of the seals South Kivu). She specializes in supporting women and local communities in the fight against poverty and injustice in eastern DR Congo.
VISION
The vision of PIFEVA is to see the woman and the local communities accompanied become competitive and artisans of their own social, economic, legal, cultural and political promotion in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

PIFEVA's mission is to support women, girls and local communities in the fight against poverty and injustice in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

AREAS OF INTERVENTION
1) Protection and fight against sexual and gender-based violence;
2) Promotion of peace, gender and female leadership;
3) Formal and non-formal education of vulnerable children and young people;
4) Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women, Youth and Local Communities;
5) Literacy and socio-professional reintegration of women, girls and children in vulnerable situations;
6) Environment, food and economic security of vulnerable families;
7) Advocacy for women's rights.
INTERVENTION STRATEGIES
1) Sensitization and empowerment of target populations on the principle of self-management at the local level;
2) Skills development (capacity building of beneficiaries in our areas of intervention);
3) Accompaniment of women agricultural producers in setting up adaptation and mitigation mechanisms to climate change;
4) Participatory Action Research (RAP);
5) The development of the spirit of innovation and female entrepreneurship;
6) Involvement and active participation of beneficiaries in promoting peace and combating all forms of violence against women and children.
