I am a Scientific Research Officer at African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (ARIGIST), OAU Campus, ile-ife, Nigeria under the auspices of United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). I hold a Masters degree in Space Science and Technology with specialty in Satellite Communications and a B.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have published a good number of articles at international journals and participated in several projects. I noticed ICT has an important role to play in helping Countries meet their climate goals both from a mitigation and adaptation perspective and also in the efforts to reduce e-waste.I am presently working on how ICT can help in solving this global world problem on climate change and disaster risk management.
