A good focused project which could have impact. Not expensive. Highly recommended

Thanks for the feedback! I hope I am given a chance to provide more information about the opportunities here in Mid-Missouri and to share a vision for diversified agriculture. Many thanks! Adam Saunders

Could the costs and carbon capture potential be better defined?

This is a very simple and focused project, which carries (a) minimal/manageable costs, and (b) easily measured targets to measure success. We would suggest a conceptual model that demonstrates scalability if proof-of-concept is favorable. Strongly support this proposal.

Have you considered the re-purposing of idle non-farm land? My hypothesis is that there are millions of unforested acres in the US that could be converted to forest. Examples would be highway median strips and cloverleafs, some utility right of ways, farmland that is intentionally idled, and lots of unused or underutilized meadows across the country. Provide the right incentives and you could establish millions of acres of forest where there is none today without changing what farmers produce or how they produce it. Then apply this to other places in the world where forests are badly needed. Converting open land to forests is one of the cheapest most effective ways to sequester a lot of carbon.

Rodswalker, Thanks for your comment. Yes! I think there is vast potential for the lands you mention. Those along highways would be especially good. Thanks for your comments! adam
