The proposal clearly needs more work!
The innovative component of this proposal appears to be the detailed designs provided rather than the mere idea of rainwater harvesting (which is well known, and is practiced in several places). However, the energy aspect is missing from the proposal. Also, what would be the long-term challenges related to operation and maintenance of such a system? What makes the cost vary so much ($20-$600) Also not sure if these are per unit production cost or total?
Further, The key question, then, pertains to the comparative costs of this technology (relative to other harvesting systems available in the market), and the ease with which communities and cities in developing countries can adapt and manage it.
