- Rainwater harvesting is a good idea and an effective approach for dealing with drought. This practice has already been in use in Sri Lanka for decades and tens of initiatives are already functional. In Sri Lanka, the need is to strengthen and invest into the ancient cascade water management system through climate science and data in the backdrop of fast changing climate change and unplanned development activities.

- Very little detail on water harvesting technologies will be, what the downsides and upsides will be.
