Semi-Finalist Evaluation

This is more of a longitudinal case study than an adaptation project per se. The description for the implementation plan is vague and based on many assumptions such as cooperation by local authorities and communities. This doesn’t seem feasible in the given circumstances. Also, it is difficult to understand what this proposal is about - is it DHRS or SHRS - and what are the distinctive features of either or both of these. The proposals starts off the platform of water roof top harvesting - nothing new there. It is only when you get further down in the proposal that you see that the innovation is combining roof top harvesting with solar power - though it is not clear what the point of the innovation is. Furthermore, the proposal then talks about GHG emissions reduction in conjunction with the water harvesting but we can't easily see what fossil fuel use this technology is displacing. Lastly, what is the investment cost of these technology? How many households can benefit from it and how much would it help to solve the water scarcity problem in Iran, In other words, the financial feasibility of this technology should be discussed.
