Lutz Meyer-Ohlendorf, PhD student at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) since January 2009, holds a M. A. in Social Geography attained at Cologne University. For his M. A. he undertook a qualitative study on the informal dynamics of infrastructure provision in slum settlements in Delhi, India. After finishing his Masters he worked for the German Development Institute (DIE) on a study on adaptation to climate change in (Mega-)Cities of Sub-Saharan Africa. Currently he works in the project ‘Hyderabad as a Megacity of Tomorrow’ with a focus on lifestyle dynamics and climate change mitigation and adaptation as well as international climate policy.
