Member Profile
After finishing my prior life as a modern dancer, I graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Sustainable Development. Since then I have worked as a research assistant at Columbia's Earth Institute, focusing on cash cropping and nutrition at the Agriculture and Food Security Center. Most recently I conducted a study on clean cook stoves and food security for farmers in rural India, which led to my current position with the Environmental Defense Fund. My work centers around Indian rural development initiatives that improve livelihoods while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture and off-grid energy. Hobbies include teaching yoga, tango dancing, hiking, and travelling at every opportunity.
