As a MA candidate in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo, my research focuses on the use of community-based vulnerability assessments and a climate-resilient development approach to develop responses to climate change for fishing communities in small island developing states. While I have primarily conducted my work in Tobago, I have additionally co-led community-based vulnerability assessments in Mauritius and the Seychelles.
