I hold 5 years of professional experience in environment management and climate change field. I have worked with one of the top carbon consultants in the world (Emergent Ventures India Pvt. Ltd.) and the world class transportation company of India (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.) for environment management. I hold Master’s degree in Environment Management completed from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India.

My work experience as a climate change and sustainability is extensive and diverse, involving registration and verification of greenhouse gas mitigating projects with UNFCCC and VCS, verification of CERs/VCUs, power generation calculations, Power Load Factor (PLF) estimations, sustainability reporting, Cash flow (IRR/NPV) estimations. My role helped me develop in depth technical knowledge of various renewable energy projects across sector; wind, solar, hydro, biomass. During verification process I have managed power generation data of wind, solar, hydro and energy efficiency projects.

For almost a year at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC), India I worked as an Environment Manager. My position gave me first hand responsibility of conducting Environment Impact Assessment, framing and implementation of environment policy, standards and manuals throughout an organization. I held sole responsibility of managing environment compliance at 15 contractor’s site, involving extensive site visits, training sessions, data collection, monitoring and reporting of various environmental parameters, which greatly developed my leadership skills.
