Lee Ullmann joins MIT Sloan with impressive accomplishments and responsibilities in the field of education. Most recently, Lee was the face of higher education for the U.S. State Department in Chile. He has also worked as a consultant in the e-learning sector where he helped build artificial intelligence software for pharmaceutical companies and databases for museums and schools.
An avid traveler, he has visited more than 40 countries and has lived in Israel, Cyprus, Ecuador, and Chile. Lee spent two years working in Turkey, one of which he was a Fulbright Fellow. He has published articles and given public talks on a variety of topics from education in Latin America to Global Information Systems (GIS) to the ancient world.
Lee holds four degrees from Columbia University, including a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D., and was a member of the faculty at Columbia University.
