I am Isaac Yaw Barnes from Ghana.

I am currently a Project Field Assistant on Water Climate and Development Project (WACDEP) It a Global Water Partnership (GWP) and Africa Ministers' Council on Water initiative (AMCOW) to integrate Water security and Climate resilience into national development plans at all level.

I have a degree in Integrated Development Studies from University for Development Studies, Ghana.

In 2008, I represented Ghana at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize in Sweden. As the first Ghanaian, my contribution was remarkable that awarded me much commendations from the 2008 Award laureate, Emeritus Professor John Allan and the global water community.

Seven years down the line, I have proven noteworthy in the water sector.

I volunteered on numerous water and sanitation project across the country. I was a Junior Rapporteur at the 2nd Ghana National Consultation on Post 2015 Development Agenda in Ghana, an Upper West Regional representative at the National Youth and Children Summit at the 1st Ghana Water Forum, Water Resources Commission Young scientist award laureate for an outstanding contribution in sensitizing my community to manage and protect water resources.

In 2015, due to my active engagement in the water sector as a young professional, I was invited to the 25th Silver Jubilee of Stockholm World Water Week in Sweden as a Junior Rapporteur.
