Jean Claude was born on July 31st, 1977. Following secondary and university studies in the US & UK, he began his NGO career working for a local organization called the Save a Country Foundation implementing rural development projects in Haiti's southeast, before joining ActionAid Haiti in 2005. In 2009, he became the organization's youngest ever country director before moving on to become Oxfam USA's Haiti program director in 2014. Throughout his NGO career, he supported the development of several grassroots and civil society movements including; the JenanJe coalition, the AZUEI movement and the Inter-Organization Liaison Framework (CLIO). Jean Claude is now collaborating with several private sector firms linking economic and social initiatives to local development frameworks. Jean Claude is married with 2 children and lives in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
